Our emotional intelligence (EQ) informs every decision we make in our personal and professional lives and has a profound impact on our ability to lead others effectively. For most of us, these skills were developed in an emotionally nurturing home. However, in light of today’s crises, stress fractures are beginning to emerge that will negatively impact organizations if they go untreated. We have a choice: either ignore the pain associated with the hidden trauma or do something to address these issues.
In this webinar, we’ll examine some key concepts to get you started. Based on years of experience in assessing thousands of individuals, we’ll describe why EQ affects our ability to lead well, provide some tips for success, and answer some critical questions like:
- Why is it so challenging to change?
- What does the latest research say?
- Why is it important?
- What are some concrete ways to monitor EQ?
- How do I begin to develop EQ?
- Where do I look for resources?
The presentation will take about 40 minutes, followed by 20 minutes for Q&A.
The number of attendees will be limited by the size of the zoom software (100).
